Davis & Beach Family! Lora Davis (as of this writing - they're getting married!) was an absolute joy to work with. You can probably tell what a beautiful gal she is, inside and out, from her photo! Her fiance, Steffen, and furbaby, Umi, truly complete her as you see, and they make such a sweet family. We were concerned after seeing the photo after she had received the labels, because we didn't think their characters matched them, but, they change their hairstyles a lot, so it was fine! Lora was so creative; we love the title "The Beach House," which is actually Steffen's last name. We sure hope we'll see a wedding photo, and continue to work with this couple for many years to come. We wish them a wonderful life together!
The Rickard Family! The Rickards have been customers of ours before their sweet new daughter, Danica, came along! Big brothers Peyton and Snoop, the dog, were their only children back then. You might notice that Snoop's Doodlekins likeness has some special coloring to better suit him. We were glad to do it; Snoop is one special guy, and so loved by the family. We have enjoyed working with Traci so much over the years, she has been one of our most loyal customers. In fact, you can thank her for the gift certificates we now offer on the site; she's the one who really made us buckle down and get them done! We look forward to more adventures with The Rickards, and appreciate their continued business so much.
The Macy Family! This photo Kristina sent us should be on the cover of Life magazine! Words can't describe what you see when you look at it. In creating their labels, although we took great care to make three different shades of pink for Helena, Lucia and Elliana, we accidentally left off the last digit of their zipcode! We shipped a new set out to them ASAP, of course. Even though it must have been quite disappointing, Kristina treated our customer care team so nicely. We are so grateful to Doodlekins families, like The Macys, for their warmth, kindness, generosity of spirit, AND patience and understanding! We hope to create more labels for this beautiful family, and watch the gals grow up!
The Henderson Family! We couldn't be more honored to produce labels for this special military family! Heath is a Marine, and not only is he clearly proud of his adorable triplet girls, we are all so proud of HIM. We are filled with gratitude for his sacrifices and bravery, to keep us all safe and free. Whether you support the war or not, it's important to support the troops. They believe in their mission, and they need to know we believe in THEM! We know they are doing incredible things to fight terrorism, and we wish them continued success, and a safe return home to their families when the time is right. The Zinda Family! All of our families are special, but The Zindas are special in a unique way. After three of their own children, they decided to adopt Delaney from China in August of 2005! With plenty of room in their hearts for another child, they opened their home to a child in need, and were blessed with her in return.
The Illarde Family! What a delight to see this order come in, featuring baby Izzie! Jennifer had ordered engagement and wedding labels from us in the past, so it was wonderful watching the couple become a family. It means so much to us when people keep coming back as their families start...and GROW! Thank you Illardes!
The Gobeils! Jenn has been one of our favorite customers for years! We were the lucky ones to create her wedding labels back in 2004, and have continued to be honored as her family with Jarid has grown! Stay tuned for more on Dean, their first child!
The Lambert Family! Kimberly had a really hard time picking out her address labels! She'd been a customer of ours in the past, on our other site, www.mabelbean.com, and she wasn't sure what kind to get this time around as she and her dear family were moving. When we introduced her to Doodlekins, that was it, she was hooked! She was good enough to share a photo of their BEAUTIFUL new home, but we sure hope we get to see the occupants sometime too! Tee hee! Her husband, Courtland, is a firefighter, and we so appreciate his service to their community and our country. How amazing that this family makes such big sacrifices so their neighbors can be safe. Customer Care gal, Mona, looks forward to working with Kimberly again, when she can get a scrap of time away from sweeties Sarah and Rachel, that is!
The Sheffield Family! First, what a cutie pie is Caleb?!? His loving Mom, Rita, emailed Customer Care a few times during the order process, and was kind enough to share a few photos with us. We are always amazed by the warmth and kindness of our customers! Caleb was turning one, and the labels were to be used to mail those special first birthday photos, from this young, happy family. Charlotte Fedders, #1 Grandma! Charlotte has been a customer of ours FOREVER! Even before we ever saw her photo, we knew what a bubbly, charming and kindhearted person she was. She's been giving gifts of Doodlekins to her family for years, keeping our customer care staff entertained with her warm and friendly emails. The Rollins Family! Wendy was kind enough to provide us with this lovely photo of her family! We've worked with her for about three years now, for the family's special events, like Maylee's birth and 1st birthday. Roscoe the furkid gets special "kisses" over his eyes, by request! Time flies, and Maylee sure has changed from her first little character. It's a real privelege - and delight - everytime we see them come back for more, and we get to watch her grow up. We're hoping The Rollins will be customers for at least 14-16 more years, so we can see Maylee become a world famous super model! Seriously! Brett had better buy a big rifle to ward off all the boyfriends! ;o)
